Caleb had a day off a few weeks ago so we decided to go on a hike. We found an easy two mile hike in the San Bernardino National Forest. We packed a picnic spread on the sun block and went for our hike. It was a beautiful hike and perfect for the kids. The only issue was there were millions of flies! It was not just a couple annoying flies buzzing around your ears, it was like huge black swarms attacking you. So we made it to the falls let the kids get in the water and turned around to eat our picnic in our enclosed car where the flies would not get us. Despite the flies it was a good adventure. The kids had a great time until Joshua said started crying because he said "a fly licked his eye". So he hiked back to the car with one eye, it was kind of funny.
