Joshua turns 5!

As everyone who has ever talked to Joshua knows his birthday is on June 10th. He wanted a Star Wars Birthday party. He has never watched Star Wars but has been on the ride at Disneyland and played with his daddy's old Star Wars toys. He lucked out and had several birthday parties. His Grandma and Grandpa Beifuss came a few days before his birthday and took him out to lunch and to the toy store to pick out his present. Then his cousins came the day before his birthday and spent the night on their way to Utah for a family vacation. So Joshua had a birthday party with them, sleep over, and birthday breakfast. Then his real birthday was on Sunday so we had another birthday breakfast and he opened up his present from us and Abigail. THEN a few days later we went to Utah to visit Grandma and Grandpa Bailey and he got a present from them! He was very spoiled this year and loved every bit of it. He talks about his birthday and when it will be here all year, he love his birthday.

I can't believe he is actually five. It seems like he was just born. He starts kindergarten in August. He is so excited and can not way, I am excited for him but at the same time am sad that my little baby boy is growing up. He is such a sweet funny little kid. He always keeps us very entertained, and very busy. One of the things he says way to often is "mom I have a plan how about..." I always know that I am trouble when I hear that because he will not rest until he sees his plan through. He is the most determined single minded boy I know which hopefully will serve him well later on in life.  The funniest thing he said recently was when he came home from his little Safety Town camp the other day. He went up to Caleb and says
"Daddy I am frustrated at mommy"
Caleb says " oh really why?"
Joshua says "mommy did not put the right name on my name tag"
"oh what did she put?"
"Joshua Bailey"
"well I think that is your name"
"Well I wanted her to put Joshua Bailey the Super Hero..."
He always keeps us laughing, we love having him in our family.
